Although many people state that the developers are just trying to lure players into spending money, the money is almost always put to good use. KIXEYE uses the money to pay its employees in order for this game to maintain its pristine quality, and also to add in more features that keep players actively engaged, such as the workshop, rebalancing changes, and the black market. Without players spending money, we would have a much less developed game with less quality, integrity, and features. So you people stop complaining about pay to win and look at the situation in a broader way. You dont even have to pay money to enjoy the game; just hop in every few days, chat with your alliance, and smash a few fleets.

A really AWESOME game!! I really enjoy just upgrading everything and going out and completely obliterating someone elses base! Awesome!!

Game is SICK!!!!

I really really love this game. Only problem I have with the game is that there is no way to get coins other than by in game purchase. I wish there was some other was to get coins like an arena where you compete with other players for coins and the reward could be based on arena ranking or something. This is however an outstanding space base game. Keep it up.

I started playing this a few months ago, having quit Game of War for good. Game of War had gotten to the point that only those who spent at least $100 each week could ever become powerful enough to have fun. Vega Conflict had the pay-to-play option, but the balance didnt perversely favor the spenders. With recent updates, this balance has greatly shifted toward those who put a lot of money into the game. Good points: entire planets are able to be populated primarily by one or two major alliances (this keeps constant resource farming and raiding to a minimum); defeated fleets arent lost, just destroyed (they can be repaired, rather than having to be built [trained] all over again); superpower players cannot attack with their full strength players of lower levels (though even this has changed--I used to be able to attack only within two levels of my fleet, while I can now attack within five); there is a module (building) one may invest in that produces premium currency (upgradable once ones alliance spends enough coins); there is an endless supply of AI fleets (though no bases) that can be attacked for resources, weapon and ship components, etc. Bad point: the game is consistently changing to mimic Game of Wars spender-centric system. More and more concepts are being implemented that "encourage" players to buy premium currency. Failure to buy means a serious disadvantage in the game. It is quickly becoming less fun.

I like it a lot due to the fact that there are literally thousands of options for customization. I love it and its a true shame that its as underrated as it is. Recommended to any science fiction fans. I love it.

I play Vega conflict on 3 platforms and the one that suffers the most is the iPad 2. This game is so poorly engineered that it literally has cost me money with crashes of my OS during battles. God forbid that there would be multiple moving objects during a firefight.... Ive complained to developers @ Apple. Programmers are in such a fat hurry to make more money that they rush and role-out half-baked code that caused more problems that make playing the game frustrating. In considering how he game and finding other games to play. Kixeye, you must realize that when your games fail to perform, mr manner of fancy graphics, animation, or complex ship and weapons classes are going to make it worth loading. FIX IT!!! I dont want to play on pay money on a game that performs badly, otherwise I would buy Microsoft products.

Kixeye is more concerned about making money than they are about game play. They very rarely take any suggestions from players and are terrible at fixing bugs in a timely manner. Game play is just okay. Play a different game, not worth it at all!

I really tried to like this game but like many reviewer wrote this game is impossible to play if you dont spend $100 a week. You can play up to maybe level 20 without spending money if you dedicate lot of time paying but after that it becomes impossible to level up no matter how many hours you play. What a waste of time...

Just started the game and so far Im liking how its set up and the gameplay. The attacks are interesting with being able to join or point click and I like it.

I love playing this game. Kixeye however is a terrible company. I made a fairly sizable in-app purchase on a sale item that got hung up somewhere. My credit card was billed, but I did not receive the purchase in-game. Most companies would work to resolve the issue. Not Kixeye. Instead I have to chase around with Apple to get a refund and miss my opportunity to get a discount in the game into the bargain. Kixeye has heard of customer service but really couldnt be bothered.

I want to repair one of my fleets, then it says do you want to buy the extra resources for whatever amount of coins, what resources?!?!

Not one to spend money to play, I dont trust this pay to play schemes. I broke down and bought the lance destroyers plus 10000 coins. Do they show up someplace special? Because I havent seen either yet. Its been a week and my money has been taken. HELLO MCFLY ANYONE IN THERE?

Ive been playing this game for a few months now and I thinks its an amazing game. But since the ship repair has gone up a lot I have not really been playing lately because if this. I think that the old repair times should be returned.

So far I cannot find any free space game with the same depth as this one. Yes it has many F2P elements, but I found somehow well balanced and enjoyable. Even the raid mechanics which I hate is not that invasive. In three montgs I ve been raided once (I do not raid myself).
